ACTS Healthcare is based in Derby, where we are working hard to support young adults aged 18 years and above with their complex mental health and learning disability needs. We are a CQC (Quality Care Commission)registered provider offering a range of care and support services including personal care for those in need of support and assistance to live their lives to its full potential. We are a person-centered service who focuses on providing care and support services to those diagnosed with having special needs and specialise in caring for those who have experienced or are experiencing the following challenges: Autism, Learning Disabilities, Unstable Borderline Personality Disorders, Mood disorders (such as depression or bipolar), Anxiety disorders, Psychotic disorders (such as schizophrenia), Aspergers’ Syndrome, Down’s Syndrome, Depression, and other Trauma-related disorders. We welcome individuals who are needing one to one support or just a helping hand to live their lives as independently as possible within the community.

Our founder Margaret Muwaubi started working in the care field many years ago and often provided care and support to help those she worked with remain at home and retain their independence. But she felt something was missing at times, and that more could be done to help those who required support and assistance to reach their full potential. She envisioned a future with a service where anyone regardless of the barriers faced could achieve greater hope and success, and this was to be the start of Acts Healthcare Ltd. Through the services we provide and our dedicated staff team, we strive to make that vision a reality with every life we are privileged to touch. We strive to provide quality care services, which include personal care, supported living, respite, and domiciliary care. The accommodation is managed and run by Ms Margaret Mubaiwa, a registered manager who has many years of experience within the care field along with a highly trained and experienced staff team and we are dedicated to helping others live life to it's full potential.
We often find ourselves working side-by-side with a range of professionals and non-professionals including local authorities, social workers, families, carers and many others in order to deliver the best possible caregiving services to fit each client’s needs.
